How we handle your information, and your property’s
Two different things, and the second matters more than people expect. We hold information about a building that stands empty, which is exactly the information a burglar would want.
What we hold
About you: your name, contact details, the authorisation list you set, and a record of our correspondence. Collected from you directly, when you enquire or become a client.
About the property: the address, access arrangements, alarm and key details, the visit schedule, and the photographs and findings from every attendance.
How it is kept: key details and addresses are held separately from one another, so neither is useful on its own. Visit records are retained for the period set out in your service agreement.
Who we share it with: nobody, other than a contractor you have approved for a specific job, or where we are required to by law. We do not sell data and we do not pass details to marketing partners.
Your rights: under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
